When to Write

You may wish to contact us if you notice:

• An incorrect title, author name, or publication detail in a book record.
• A book placed in a category that seems inappropriate — for example, a painting manual filed under architecture, or a work of fiction listed among historical sources.
• A file that will not open, appears truncated, or contains garbled text or missing illustrations.
• Problems reading a book on a particular device, browser, or screen-reader, including layout failures or inaccessible image descriptions.
• Concerns about privacy, such as unexpected data collection or unclear cookie practices.
• A possible copyright or rights issue — for instance, if you believe a book is not in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights and wish to discuss a listing.
• General editorial observations, suggestions for new titles, or thoughts about the catalogue’s organisation.

What to Include

To help us address your message quickly, please provide as many of the following details as are relevant:

• The exact URL (web address) of the page where the issue appears.
• The full title of the ebook.
• The file format you are using (EPUB, PDF, Kindle, HTML, etc.).
• The device or browser you were reading on (for example, “iPad with Safari” or “Windows 11, Firefox 120”).
• A clear description of the problem you encountered, including any error messages.
• If the matter concerns copyright or rights, any supporting information you are able to share (such as the country where you are located, or details about the rights holder).

How We Handle Different Types of Reports

Metadata corrections — such as a misspelled author name or a wrong publication date — are typically applied within a few days once verified. Category suggestions are reviewed against the catalogue’s existing structure, which includes sections such as Design Photography and Art History. If a title appears misfiled, we examine its subject matter and may move it to a more appropriate category or add cross-references.

File-related reports are particularly valuable because ebook formats vary widely. A book that displays perfectly in one reading application may behave differently in another. When you tell us the format and device, we can reproduce the issue and, where possible, adjust the file or provide guidance. Accessibility feedback — for example, missing alternative text on illustrations — helps us improve the experience for readers using assistive technologies.

Copyright queries are taken seriously. If you believe a title should not be available in your country, we will review the matter promptly. Because public-domain status differs by jurisdiction, we may add a note to the record or restrict access where feasible. Rights holders who wish to discuss a listing are encouraged to write, and we will respond as quickly as we can.

We read each message and do our best to reply when a response is warranted. Because the library is an independent project, we cannot guarantee a specific turnaround time. If you do not hear back, it may be that your report has been noted and acted upon without a separate reply.
